The Etsy API

4 Feb

In work-related news, I wrote today about the Etsy API we’ve been working on over on Etsy’s blog, the Storque:

We’re letting a select group of developers kick the tires in an invite-only beta. If you’re interested in participating, email developer@etsy.com (I’ll see the email there). We’ll have more to say as we get closer to a general release, so stay tuned.

I love this stuff!

Chad, this is awesome! I know that my wife and my mother-in-law love Etsy and I’m amazed at how quickly they’ve been able to get involved in the Etsy community. They asked me to check out the site to see if there is anything that can be done to get them more clarity on Search Engines. I took a quick peek at their pages and see that you guys might be able to use URL Rewrite’s to enhance the experience. We’ve implemented it on our end for all of our builds now and have seen amazing results. Let me know if you want to see this in action and how it could help. Great job on what you guys are doing. I was blown away at your cool color.php and color_new.php pages as well. :) Keep it up! Thanks!

    Congratulations!

I need to revive my own, poor neglected blog.
